THE STORY BEHIND SQUADBOX PERFORMANCE CAMPS
Squadbox Performance Camps began over 10 years ago with a simple idea.
Â
Josh’s father, Coach Mick, wanted to take him away for warm-weather training in Tenerife — creating the right environment to focus, train, and perform at the highest level.
Â
That decision became a turning point.
Â
During that period, Josh went on the best run of his professional career — winning the British title in style, successfully defending it, and securing multiple titles across different weight divisions.

FROM PERSONAL SUCCESS TO A GROWING VISION
What started as a focused training setup quickly evolved into something bigger.

Towards the latter stages of Josh’s career, close friends and business partners Scott Thorpe and Steve Paterson began joining the camps. Coming from strong business and financial backgrounds, conversations naturally turned towards a bigger vision.

Over meals, recovery sessions, and downtime between training, one question kept coming up:
👉 Why not open this experience to others?

Why not give people the opportunity to experience exactly what a professional fighter goes through inside a real training camp environment?
